We are lucky to be able to hire a wonderful new  hydro pool from Aquathlete which is based in Spondon within Derby city.

The private hydro pool, is warm and cosy standing in its own pool room , the temp of the water is kepted at  32 degrees. The pool also has its own disability wet room which also has an electrical disability bed to help make changing easier if needed.

The pool its self is  unique. In the pool you will find an endless current machine at the front, this will give the feeling that you are swimming in open water ( also great for boat and duck racing) but you are actually swimming on the spot . There is also a treadmill in the floor which can be used for walking/running on to help build fitness, muscle strength  and endurance. You will also two jacuzzi seats at the back of the pool, there is always time for a relax and a bubble. You can even turn the lights on in the pool to create a relaxing atmosphere.
